The Guyuan Division of the 2026 Ningxia Football Super League (referred to as the “Ningxia Super League”) is scheduled to commence on May 16, according to information revealed at a press conference on May 11. As one of the host regions, Guyuan will leverage seven matches as a driving force to deeply promote the integrated development of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce. Breaking away from traditional models like “issuing coupons and offering discounts,” the division will introduce innovative initiatives such as “using tickets as cash,” “watching matches while strolling through a fair,” “grabbing red envelopes when goals are scored,” and “collecting stamps to win great prizes.” These efforts aim to ensure that residents and tourists can “browse with excitement, shop with good value, and have a fantastic experience” beyond just watching the games. {IMAGE_1}
The Ningxia Super League will run from May to October across eight divisions in Ningxia. Preparations for the Guyuan Division are fully in place, with the main venue set at the football field of Ningxia Normal University. The inaugural match will feature the Guyuan Liupanshan Changping Team against the East Ningxia Management Committee Representative Team. During the matches, pre-game and halftime intervals will showcase unique performances like Shehuo (a traditional folk art) and opera choruses. Additionally, a lucky draw for 300 core scenic spot tickets will be held at the venue, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the passion of the competition while experiencing the unique charm of Guyuan’s cultural tourism. {IMAGE_2}
Taking the start of the matches as an opportunity, Guyuan is forging a new consumption landscape across the region. Outside the stadium, an immersive “Guyuan Premium Products” market will be set up, featuring 60 specialty booths covering food, local products, and creative cultural goods, showcasing locally distinctive products. Simultaneously, hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls in various counties (districts) will create “second scene” viewing areas. Through high-definition large screens broadcasting the matches live, they will offer “Ningxia Super League” limited-edition meal packages and exclusive consumption coupons, making it convenient for residents and tourists without tickets to watch nearby and spend freely.
