I cheated on my wife

I have been married for 17 years and last year I emotionally cheated on my wife 3x. I met these women online and for a while I thought it was a game. We exchanged emails and texts but I never met them. My marriage has lacked emotional support and intimacy for years. We have three young children together. We have recently separated because my wife deems me a cheater. I still love her with all my heart. How do I make amends and/or get my point across that she means everything to me?
