Four-time NBA champion and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James said that sharing the court with his son in a playoff game was the most incredible moment of his career.
The Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets 107-98 in the opening game of their first-round series. LeBron and Bronny James became the first father-son duo in league history to play together in an NBA playoff contest. The 41-year-old LeBron logged 38 minutes and 26 seconds, recording a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. The 21-year-old Bronny played 3 minutes and 50 seconds without registering any stats.
“Man, I was out there with my son in a playoff game. This is probably the craziest thing that has ever happened to me in my career. It was just unbelievable to be there with him—absolutely incredible. My mom got to watch her son and her grandson play in the playoffs. It’s just insane,” James said, as quoted by Sportsnet.
Game 2 of the first-round series will take place in Los Angeles on April 21.
